| Disney Family Vacation Package
- I love Disney world! Seriously, I spend way too much time there. I thought I would share my "expertise" with you. Disney can be a very overwhelming place and if you have never visited before, deciding on the best Disney family vacation package can be difficult. I am going to talk specifically about a package called "Magic Your Way", offered directly from Disney.
1) Flexible package: This is the cheapest and most basic package available. This includes accommodation at one of the Disney resorts and also admission to one of the four Disney parks for each day of your stay (there is also the possibility to "hop" between the parks each day, depending on which tickets you get).
2) Magic your Way Plus Dining: This includes everything from the flexible basic package, plus some basic dining. This consists of one table service meal and one counter service (fast food) meal every day. Breakfast is your responsibility.
3) Premium Package: You know with a name like "premium" that you are going to get more right' Well this includes everything from above, plus breakfast, plus the ability to eat just about anywhere in Disney world. It also includes various perks like golf, boat rentals, and so forth. Of course this package is expensive.
My Opinion: I am a bit of a penny pusher, and like to feel I am getting the best deal possible. Personally, I typically avoid the packages that include meals. Sure, it is nice to just pay one price and not need to worry about additional expenses, but in the long run you end up spending a lot more money. When we go to Disney world, we typically stay at the all-star resort, which is relatively cheap, especially for being inside the park!
We usually pack a lunch and eat supper out at one of the fast food places. We don't really care to eat at the fancier places because you end up losing a lot of time. We'd rather spend that precious time riding rides!
